epc.Pacific were selected by the State Government of South Australia to partner, fund and develop this catalyst project for the urban regeneration of Port Adelaide. The recently completed project comprises a next generation six level office building located in the commercial and civic heart of the Port Adelaide Waterfront Precinct.
The completed building accommodates approximately 500 State Government employees within an awarded and highly regarded design that is respectful to its urban realm whilst featuring an array of exterior and interior design highlights including its layered copper western façade and industrial inspired modern interior. The building delivers 6,000sqm of PCA A-Grade next generation office accommodation, 380sqm of retail services together with 150 car spaces.
In keeping with epc.Pacific’s long-standing track record of delivering excellence in sustainability, the project well exceeded the State Government’s expectations and requirements. Through the strategic alignment of stakeholder requirements and epc.Pacific’s upfront capital investment, the building is on-track to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Design and As-Built Rating together with NABERS rating of 6 stars and water rating exceeding 5 stars.
The $50 million project was constructed by Hansen Yuncken and the award-winning design was led by Walter Brooke and epc.Pacific’s in-house design team.
