The Coles Group National Corporate Headquarters comprises 12 interconnected office buildings, two basement levels of secure car parks and a recently completed interconnected multi deck car park.
Following two years of collaborative negotiations with Coles Group Ltd, epc.Pacific secured a new 15-year lease commitment for the buildings 42,000sqm of NLA subject to extensive building upgrade works and an expansion comprising over 20,000sqm of GBA accommodating an expanded car park and services. The agreement was particularly complex and conditional, requiring adjoining land acquisition, subdivision, planning approvals, development approvals and multi-party and stakeholder co-ordination to enable the regeneration of one of Australia’s most enduring Suburban Office Parks.
Our team managed the complex $55 million building expansion and services upgrade works, minimising disruption to existing business operations and delivering a unique southern car park façade that is now an urban landmark with a value now in excess of $250 million*.
The new multi deck car park design included structural capacity to allow future expansion opportunities, both adjoining and on top of the new structure, providing further flexibility to expand accommodation into the future. Future focussed.
